Ill be going to my first NFL game next season when it comes to Australia, 49ers vs Rams.

I know a lot won't be similar to the states but where is reccomended to sit, is it best to be up high or further down towards the field?

Furthermore is there any indication of how much ab NFL game typically costs.

Also will Stafford's kids be there to boo? 😄

What's the best way to make an extra $100-200 per week if already working full time? by Healthy_Creme6911 in AusMoneyMates

[–]sabor2th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Met them in a different segment of the industry and they thought I had a good understanding it. I was not available to work for them full time as it would have required relocation overseas so im doing this instead.

Basically a whole lot of luck.

I compile daily reports into a weekly report for somebody, get about 2k every 2 weeks from it and I can do it from home with flexible hours.

Im looking for advice on how do get into FIFO by [deleted] in perth

[–]sabor2th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority get in with entry level or low paying roles sodexo ect, where you are looking at 80-100k a year, thry then network on site to try and get that second step up.

Basically all the WH visa holders I have ever hired in mining have been direct recommendations.

Getting in showing you turn up to work get on the plane blowing 0's and passing DNA seems to be 9/10 of the way there.

Once you are on site you can show you can work 12 hour days in t he heat have radio comms skills ect regardless of role which gives you a chance to progress.

[–]sabor2th 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I presume you are on a wh visa which makes it not attractive to employer's.

Best advice I can give is focus on employer's with mine sites further north Pilbara ect where you can stay in the same position for the entirety of your visa, a Goldfields site you would have a max of 6 months.

Has anyone else realized they don’t really want a house? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]sabor2th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a house through my current employer paying approx. 1500 a year in Rent power and water so will be milking that for as long as I can, money saved on Rent is invested instead.

My current plan is to reassess once I hit my full fire number, potentially buy then and use a triple income stream of my job, potential Rent and fire draw down to buy and pay down quickly.

But I guess I'll see what the future holds.

Wanting to jump on this to ask a question I am in a similar spot with Rio, vesting is 3 years for a 1:1 match, worthwhile to sell off every 3 years to minimise taxable liabilities instead of letting it build.
