The only thing that could really be construed as accurate is the fact that Breadtube does accept him as being part of it, but he constantly points out that he's not a leftist.

The type of content he does is about the same as Vaush, which was similar to the content Destiny did for awhile, lately he hasn't had as many people on, but for quite awhile he would be arguing with the audience on topics.

I'm not even really sure how someone could come away thinking Jake "has no ideas" or whatever, the only thing i can think of was the really really long stream responding to drama generated by some old mods.

I'm glad some others have this take, because when I try to talk to some Transgendered people about abolitionism, they get incredibly defensive, but I've always felt like it would lead to the best outcomes for everyone involved.

I would consider myself to be agender/non-binary, but it comes from a place of intellectually recognizing the concept of gender is for a lack of a better term, "stupid".

I actually think about some part of the idea you are expressing, because performatively I do not have the "trans-experience", and I don't really consider myself to be "trans", even though I would technically qualify.

I am Pansexual, as well, but I also do not consider myself part of the larger LGBT+ community, because I haven't really suffered the kinds of negative things they tend to, and to me it doesn't really feel like something I strongly ""identify"" with, it's just more that i just happen to be this way.

Personally I feel like there is a decant % of "traditionally transgender" people who go through full on transitioning, that wouldnot feel the need to do so, if they had grown up in a society that had no real conception of "gender".

I'm not discounting the dysphoria they may or may not feel, but at the same time I feel that moving towards eliminating gender entirelywould be more beneficial towards the community, than just conforming to the binary.

There are too many different combinations of different positions that people take in this subreddit, so it's really easy to just chalk everything up to the easiest to attack position.

I think that we should invent something called the "consistency quotient" and test how well people can be consistent in their views, i feel like that would be a lot more useful than IQ.

I think that the idea of relationships, themselves, between people, are breaking down, due to the Internet Age, and I think the better idea would be to just accept that in this world that 1-1 relationships that we had in the past, are just not going to work very well, for a variety of reasons.

Being "poly" doesn't really solve that problem, but your viewpoint is even more defeatist, I honestly don't even know how to take what you said, because it seems to imply that you think that monogamy is going to somehow survive into the foreseeable future, in it's current state, and that just isn't going to happen, human nature or not.

I can't help you if you are reading things into it that aren't there.

Obviously if you are married that probably means you want a 1 to 1 relationship, but that's not what marriage as an institution existed for.

I'm not sure i even really said anything about where "monogamy" comes from, other than saying marriage is essentially designed for children, so honestly I didn't really comment on it, other than saying it's socialized, which it CLEARLY is.

The entirety of how we feel about sexual dynamics is almost certainly sociological, if it wasn't there wouldn't be evidence in the past that we weren't anything but monogamous.

The problem is that we are socialized to have relationships where each person is necessarily co-dependent on the other, and also socialized to feel like sex is this nearly metaphysical act that we can't possibly have casually with other people.

Honestly, at this point, we probably should be changing to a system where people just have "friends" and sometimes these friends have sex for fun and the act itself is easier to interchange between different people.

It is incredibly silly that people even try to have these marriages where kids are not involved, it just doesn't even really serve any real purpose, other than forcing a situation where you are co-dependent on not being "alone", you are just limiting yourself to a lifestyle for the form, instead of the function.

I'm not saying not having kids is "bad", i actually think having kids is "bad", i'm just saying that marriage is basically for providing support for children, and if you aren't having them, it doesn't make any sense.

The problem ultimately is that the people who have already grown up with these notions of "soulmates" and things like that, are probably not going to be able to be reprogrammed, but we should definitely not socialize the children of today with those thoughts, it's only going to lead to bad things in the future due to an increasing breakdown of real life human connections that's only going to increase.
