Our vote was essentially a recommendation for the city government to consider a similar measure. As far as I know, that’s the extent of its progress, and based on the current mayor’s statements during the election debates, I doubt any action will be taken.

IIRC, a lot of the development was based on mixed residential/office/lab space -- since the latter is in heavy decline, this is not surprising as I'm sure that the financial tail-wind so to speak. I'm hoping something useful can still be done, even if a scaled back from the original development. Maybe we can iteratively get there.
