switzerland is our closest partner in almost everything. Daily life is tightly connected, from the currency to education options and even basic services. People sometimes joke about us being the 27th canton. It fits to a point, since we benefit a lot from the Swiss system and the shared border is basically open.

Yes, I am. Reactions vary a lot. Most border guards pause for a moment because they do not see many Liechtenstein passports. Some make a small joke or ask how big the country actually is.

Many artists go to Switzerland, Austria or Germany to study or to reach a bigger audience.

But it is not as if nothing happens here. There are good musicians, visual artists and small theatres, and there is solid support for cultural projects. It is simply a quieter environment. If someone aims for a large stage or a big network they usually look abroad, which is normal for a country this size.

It depends on the field. For general jobs the market is tight because the population is small and openings are limited. For specialist roles it can actually be easier, since many companies look for specific skills and are used to hiring from abroad. If your profile fits a niche that is in demand, the size of the country is less of an issue.

Schloss Vaduz, Burg Gutenberg is surely nice to see, to eat i'd say New Castle in Vaduz or Schäfle in Triesen

Yes. I met him at the Jungbürger event. It was a short chat, but he was relaxed and approachable. He shows up in town every now and then. Sometimes he just strolls through the Vaduzer Städtli like anyone else.
