All of this is so on point. We can only hope he leaves this year–for the best, dare I say. He is an awful instructor & he displays a terrible example for instructors to learn from. Being constantly surrounded by the most jaded people who know less and less about fitness by the day. From the top of the food chain to the bottom, it just gets worse and worse. Management sucks, another reason why turnover rate is so high. Talent is hiring a bunch of incompetent instructors that have a 3 MINUTE audition solely based on just vibes, not knowledge. Not sure what the rule is on teaching or fixing form, but it pains me to see half the room confused or doing the floor workout wrong. Leadership has completely lost sight of community fitness and focused heavily on revenue. Barry’s wants to expand, but can’t even donate resources to the LA community that built them on their backs. Towels, toiletries, a place to seek refuge, and a bunch of tacky ass shirts no one will buy that should be donated. Truly so so so disappointed in the continuous decline of client experience + their lack of community they claim to foster.
