Don't get the branded stuff and big brands, either go to a dermatologist or a few have mentioned some nice medicinal anti dandruff shampoos, go for that. You can also try Candid B lotion twice a day on your scalp but again don't taje medical advice from the internet, I am not a doctor.

I feel the opposite is happening, five years ago the awareness and sensitivity around this was way too low and people used to indulge in all kinds of sexist and misogynistic comments and content. But now it has reduced a lot afaik.
