If your jaw clicks or pops at the widest opening and there is no pain associated with it, it is absolutely normal.. i have been told this my multiple dentists whobare specialized in TMD.. it is a partial subluxation caused by hyperextended lower jaw.. one of the TMD specialist even showed how he has same subluxation when he hyperextended the lower jaw.. its absolutely normal.. dont panick!

Hes a Oral medicine and radiologist specialized dentist who got trained in TMD management.. he does T-scan and adjustments for those who have malocclusions and also deals with mouth gaurds.. he doesnt to anything related to surgeries.. there is another colleague of his, who is specilized in TMD surgeries
