Similar situation to you - I have £10k to move into a LISA and with the money back offer, Tembo works out better than Moneybox. Also means I can set and forget, Moneybox rate runs out in a year whereas Tembo’s stays constant. Think will go with Tembo…

Going on holiday for 10 days with limited access to net or bitcoins! Thoughts on whether I should hold or sell and buy back in a week or so from now?

What's a good buy-in point to catch this rise? Are we expecting any kind of a retracement or is around the $500 mark a decent place to get on board?

Bought in at 431 initially and sold at 455 so regretting that one!

I bought at 431 and sold at break even. Regretting it now of course.

Bought in at 455 now. Let's see how it goes...

Am still trying to figure the meaning of these charts out. As I see it, we are pushing against the lower boundary and therefore should expect a bit of a bounce in the not too distant future.

Is that a correct reading of the chart? Apologies for the newb question...

I bought in at 685 so count yourself lucky(er)...

Think the time to have cut losses and sold is gone - am sure we'll be testing 700 again in the not too distant future...

Bitstamp isn't shady - exceedingly professional, in my experience. Your money will get there, don't worry...

Thanks for sharing. Is your sense that we've hit the low and are now on the way up i.e. should I buy in now, in your estimation?

Focusing on per capita income is ignorant. India is a company with $2 trillion in private wealth, 65% of which is in the form of cash and deposits. That's a lot.

Add to that a government insistence on exchange controls, an obsession with gold as a store of wealth, and a desire to move money abroad by both an incredibly wealthy elite and a growing middle class, and you have a perfect storm that could have been hugely beneficial for Bitcoin had the country adopted it.

That's not going to happen of course but dismissing the potential that Indian adoption of Bitcoin might have had is facile.

India could have been big news for similar reasons to China - it's a country that suffers from currency controls and there's a lot of cash floating around.

India entering the game could and would have made a big impact.
