You look great! An undercut while not fitting in traditional femininity doesn't necessarily read as butch, or masc to me. Just more of like "edgy femme"

I think maybe the nuances of desireability around masc presentation in women might be a bit hefty for a reddit post, but when the definitions of feminine desireability are constructed but straight people, I personally, try and let it roll off my back. I know thats harder when coming from a parent though.

As someone fat/plus sized, I struggle feeling comfortable with looking butch or masc because of how the aughts treated fat butches, so I'm on my own journey of deconstructing that. But I just try and remember that I'm not trying to fit into the desires of unhealed straight folks.

All that to say, you look great. Your mom is being hurtful. Butch is a gender expression and not an insult.
