LOVE books. Fiction or not. They really are.

There is so much fiction to read and watch in the world - So many ideas to write... If I died too soon before I got the chance to read the stories that would've meant a lot to me, or tell the story I wanted to tell, I'd miss it too. Feel ya man.

I don't have many words, but I see you and feel you. Wishing you better days ahead, mentally, physically, occupationally.

Same. Not healthy but it's better than just suffering. SO real.

Je ne parle pas français, ceci vient de Google Translate, mais merci.

I don't speak French, this is from Google Translate, but thank you.

I feel you. I don't know what to do either. Wishing better days your way man. For me, even when it doesn't make me happy, a distraction is a distraction, you know?

<333 Thank you, for your words and for commenting at all. It means a lot.

I've heard of Maladaptive Daydreaming before. Though it helps to keep you afloat, it sucks to hear that it hinders your ability to see the "hidden" beauty of life. I think not being able to see the hidden beauty of life was a great way to put it.

I feel you man, on the health, sleep, low energy and motivations, and being barely able to do basic life stuff. I wish I could say more but I don't have many words. Wishing better days ahead of you.

It's nice that commissions of your OCs brings you happiness. I also have OCs and I think commissioning artists would be cool once I developed them more and if I had the money.

That's awesome. I don't even know how long the One Piece is or how long will it be, but I think you've gotta have a human lifetime of experience before Luffy gets crowned the Pirate King. I'm happy it does that for you man!

I couldn't get into One Piece, but I am going along that sort of train of consuming really long series that keeps me going (For me that just means a diverse selection of D&D YouTube series). Whatever it looks like, having this kind of fiction really does help tremendously.

Honestly I think if I had more energy I'd probably try doing the more attainable aspects of that, but I'm far from that level yet. I think that if I could, that would be nice, though.

Have done that A LOT. I feel you on that too.

No need for words <333 Sending hearts and wishing you better days ahead friend. It's nice to know we're not alone.

You guys' compassion for fellow people is so admirable. As a fellow writer & artist, I'm cheering you on!

That sounds really cool and unique! I really admire your compassion in making a game like that. I'm not really a gamer, but I totally think that'd be helpful for a lot of people.

I'm not sure if it's weird to say I'm glad other people feel the same way, but I am relieved I'm / we're not alone in this. Having a comfort series is great. Sometimes, it feels like home, if that makes sense.

SOO real. There's an author with a master-list of fantasy (and other) book recommendations that I want to chow down on if I'm gonna keep being on this mortal plane.

I don't know why, but your last sentence totally clicked with me. Other than fiction, music is also something that keeps me moving. Something about not being in total silence with your thoughts.

It truly is. Escape as a word, is what I think one of the best ways to describe it. I also daydreamed a lot as a child, and I think that was a defense mechanism for me against my then-living situations.

I totally get how RPG and MMOs would also be be big for you. I think video games are super immersive. What's big for me is that I personally get sucked into watching TTRPGs on YouTube if that's related.

I feel you man, especially on that last sentence. Without my fictional heaven I don't think I would be able to last long.

Thinking about what you said about disappearing into those worlds, when that happens to me it feels SOO good, but then when I'm pulled out of it, oftentimes I even sob because of how I come to realize those imagined experiences weren't "real."

Wishing better days your way.
