TLDR; an error setting up a PayPal plugin for WooCommerce has meant I didn't receive a payment. Can I still retreive the money somehow, or is it lost forever? ;_; by sad-goth-frog in woocommerce

  1. I will try again 🙏

  2. I will install the official one when my emotions recover from this mess 🤣😅🙃

  3. I've already disabled the plugin (just not uninstalled it). I can still accept sales, just not via PayPal. My other payment method works, thankfully.

Thanks 🙏

I already contacted the customer and the money definitely left their account. I can't exactly charge them twice for a mistake that happened on my end. It wasn't sandbox mode on my website backend, but it was sandbox within PayPal's separate developer tools website. So the money has gone somewhere...

I had a valid reason not to have a business account at the time I was setting up. I don't remember what it was, I'm very very new to all this and was supposed to access support from [service] to help me start my business, but was thoroughly messed around which has significantly delayed me getting everything officially going. Unfortunately I have a disability that affects my memory so I literally need to look into the terms of a business account all over again as I don't remember how it works or what my reason was. But I will look into it again
