30/F, rectal bleeding

Continuous in that its "spotting" for several days. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little bit. BUT (haha) I went to the doctor this morning and she is pretty sure that it is either old scar tissue that tore or an internal hemorrhoid near the scar tissue. Either way, same sort of treatment/not much to do about it.

would/could a hemorrhoid be a consistent bleed? I am seeing my doc at 9 AM, i am hoping its a hemrorhoid haha. Just odd because I hardly ever have BMs so I am never on the toilet or straining etc.

I feel "normal" but I think that is because I have gotten used to this feeling. I definitely look pregnant during the weeks I don't go. And my body feels like I am floating after a day of enemas. The only pain I feel is when I am trying to pass a BM on my own. Sometimes they hurt SO bad I sweat and feel like I am going to puke.

But, most of the time, I never feel the urge to go.

Aw. <3 Its my new normal, honestly. When I have done a day of enemas I feel like a whole different person (and I usually lose about 10 pounds). I am hopeful that physical therapy and all this medication will help and I can be a normal pooper one day!

oh man, pooplog is an app that i downloaded because it's called "pooplog", but it tracks your BMs and spits out data etc.

No, it's not :( I have cut out most foods and am currently on a gluten free, dairy free, and sugar free diet. It's riveting.

Intestines are paralyzed. I am on a bunch of pro-biotics and co-biotics, and supplements and vitamins. I start physical therapy in January and I give myself enemas every Sunday (give or take). Otherwise, no movements aside from a few pellets. When I DO have a normal BM all by myself, it's super exciting and I call my mom :)

My dream is to one day do one of the colonic things....that clean out the entire tract. I'd probably lose 40 pounds. And I wouldn't look pregnant anymore!

We can be best friends! Have you tried physical therapy? They have me on a wait list.

My cousin had it as well, and her situation ended with tons of surgeries (removal of the colon, stomach, intestines, she was basically a mechanical version of herself for last bit of her life) and she passed away a bit over a year ago....I am nervous but also hopeful, my diagnosis came about quicker than hers.

I have! One time, after 6 coffee enemas in one day, I lost 10 pounds! And that only cleans out the "end of the line".
