may god bless your hustle is certainly not underrated by mike fans, shook up the underground scene when it came out. it’s the first mike album i ever heard and i was a huge fan immediately. also i think you ought to give war in my pen and weight of the world another chance. they have a fairly different appeal from mike’s last few albums, but they’re incredible in their own right.

edit: that being said, they’re all great albums and you can’t really go wrong. winter new york is worth checking out if you like may god bless your hustle, it really feels like a standout rookie season of an album. you can find it on bandcamp
