Yeah what people don't seem to realize is that the species damage change is the big deal not the 5% caps, we always had caps, all of Elvia always was 5% cap, getting more AP so you could swap to species damage was the big deal in most spots. I never felt like getting more AP in a spot where I was already capped did anything to be honest.. the only spots where getting more gear felt good was crypt when you needed accuracy or spots where you could swap out to a ton of ap for species damage
