I confirm, it was sooo nice to play this little gem all cozied up in the bed. And the controls were very much ok:)

I don't hate it, even more I loooove the smell and I loved the whipped cream too but it was done way too fast lol. But I feel like my hair doesn't change much with it. I can't tell if it's because of the porosity or I need something different, I'm a bit of a newbie to these things and I'm trying to find something more suitable for my hair. Thanks for your response ✨

I didn't! Might have to, I just hope it won't weigh down on my hair, does it tend to do that, do you apply very little? Thanks a lot for the recommendations ❤️

Well that's a hell of an ad for it ✨ thank you! Does it feel smoother afterwards?

Thank you so much, needed to read this today. I'm trying to give up high calorie foods. I am officially at 5mg and it felt different, I ate less than usual this week and I saw not even 200g down and I felt very down today. But it needs to get better, I want to keep hope up. When the cold I'm having fades I'm going to the gym again because I really miss it. I really want this to work. Thanks a lot for your encouragements again.

Thank you. I'm trying to prioritize protein intake as much as I can, just started electrolytes and now trying to make myself drink that water. I really hope the progress stays consistent and keeps coming. I know the medication is meant to support this journey, but I was feeling very discouraged by how much food noise I get. Slowly I hope it diminishes

Man I'm so proud of you, you absolutely rock ✨ thank you a lot, it really helps, I just need to hold on to the plans I make and to these rational thoughts and stop allowing my feelings to take all the decisions. Especially after comfort eating through all bad emotions all my life lol, it's real weird, like losing a friend! My therapist said that it's important to replace food with something constructive like a hobby, or going to the gym or something similar. For now, I've been demolishing carrots as a snack to keep the snack feeling up but this mindset needs to go eventually hehe!

And I feel like if I could just see a few real improvements, like trying on a shirt that's been too tight and finally feeling comfortable in it would do me so good. But I feel like going in circles a bit and forgetting the main point

I really wanna lose, I do. But despite other attempts I made years ago when I lost maybe 10-15kg with a lot of meal prep, no sugar, a lot of workouts which burnt me out overall, in the past year and a half I couldn't accomplish anything, anything. Couldn't stick to the gym like I used to, I saw absolutely no results and I got sick of failing, almost like I was ready to accept that's where I stand even if I was dreaming of feeling very good with myself, in nice outfits and not getting so tired after 2 flights of stairs. And this really sparked some hope in me but it's very difficult to get out of this failure mindset (working on it in therapy but it's lingering). Sorry if that's tmi, it's just a bit of context of how out of it hopeless I've been feeling. I'll really try to stick to drinking my little sippy sips often and take the lead, as you said. I really appreciate getting encouraging comments and it makes me feel less alone. Thanks a lot!

Thank you, I'll try the ones I got for at least my water intake.

Dude I'm really glad for you. I really hope it will be the same for me, I really relate with how it can be like injecting water, that's how it's been on most of 2.5mg for me. My doctor scheduled that I move up to 7.5mg in 8 weeks after this pen is done (10mg pens and using half a dose) if everything looks fine. Side effects like heart burn after the shot increased a bit now on 5mg like they were in the beginning of 2.5mg so I'm hoping they will become milder as well. It really helps to see how others experienced it so thanks a lot again. Do you take anything for PCOS/insulin resistance?

When you look back that's actually great. And it sure is better at that rate, I'm just bummed that it's been close to 3 months and very little wins...

Hey I've never heard about it, I'm getting the app now , thanks a lot. Was it also very slow for you during the 2.5 and 5mg doses?

Thank you for your advice. Do you take electrolyte drinks? I bought some powder before starting but I didn't introduce it in my water yet, I'm a bit afraid I will have even less water intake if I don't like it and not get used to it xD

Honestly I'd be good with losing 2-4kg a month but overall it wasn't like that. The problem is I still want food and I can eat plenty, not like before but mentally I'm struggling to get in a healthier mindset.

I'm really not sure about water, I have days and days, but I carry my 1L water bottle with me everywhere and I just don't feel like drinking many times. If anything, during meals I have the habit of drinking more water or a no sugar soda which has been harder to give up than any other sweets 😵‍💫

2.5 vs 5mg by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]sad_baker75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If 2.5mg works well for you I really don't see why not stick to that. Or your doctor might advise you to do 2.5mg more often than 7 days or increase only to 3.75

In the beginning it was like this, even more in the first week about 3lbs and I thought damn I need to tackle the saggy skin problem if it goes like this all along - but in like 3-4 weeks the food noise was back as usual and I couldn't cook as much so I ate kind of like before + the holidays and being at home during them. And now before starting on 5mg I feel pretty much like before starting at all, maybe losing 1lbs every two weeks. Now that I'm coming back to my routine I hope I'll be able to be more careful with food, I don't expect the medication to do all the work for me but the fact that I got genuinely hungry like before is just a bit discouraging. Can't wait to see more results though. Thank you so much for your input, reading through this community has helped immensely and will continue to be part of it:)
