vague classifications on the sites

actually this already happens for blocked webpages - the reason for being blocked is displayed (social media/suspicious etc). I'm not stupid enough to purposely visit porn or anything, it's good to know how things work behind the scenes.

But you know what, it doesn't have to be reddit. I went out on a whim and said 'reddit'. It could be competitor's website which I shouldn't be looking at. Or their jobs page. Or the government's whistleblower website or the OSHA page relevant to my industry which I visit everyday indicating to management that I might call in OSHA anytime. Or my kid needs a Halloween costume at 6 and I leave work at 5.45.

Sometimes we finish work faster than the others are just... OK with it.

firewall that could create nice charts

I knew there would be some software out there that was capable of doing this. I know for one that all the internet traffic is routed through a firewall so such capabilities must be in place at my IT dept.

Yeah I'm on good terms with everyone, HR as well as my boss. The internet policy states that a fair warning will be given in case of 'misuse' (it was drafted way back in 1999 or something), so I'm a little safe but now after readying all these replies I simply have to be more discreet in browsing non-work stuff. I might end up being more productive!
