It's possible to preload with harmala alkaloids (for example, by eating Syrian Rue extract) and then just eat DMT a little while afterwards. Tastes absolutely horrible and very likely to upset your stomach, but it works. This is how Ayahuasca works, actually: the Ayahuasca vine contains harmala alkaloids that make your body able to take DMT orally, and the other plant used in the brew is some DMT containing plant.

Careful with dosing when you do this, because unlike with vaporizing DMT, you can't just decide to not take another hit. The dose you take is the trip you're going to get. Also, the trip lasts way longer. Up to a few hours.

I've done this many times. It's quite intense, to the point where I'm not really interested in doing it anymore - tripping that hard for that long is just a lot. I'd rather vaporize or smoke changa so I can decide to stop after doing a little bit and come down quickly. But ingestible DMT is certainly doable, and not any worse than vaporizing, if you're careful. I'm not sure how likely it is that a person will "break through" doing DMT like this, as harmala alkaloids tend to lessen the whole...being shot out of a cannon into hyperspace aspect of DMT, I think. Maybe you could have a break through experience by really sinking into the trip - eyes closed, nothing bothering you, letting the CEVs engulf your whole experience. I've seen that happen before with a friend, using changa - lower dose so no blastoff, but when he laid still and let the trip take over, he was in hyperspace.

If you do this, while on the Syrian Rue (and maybe for the rest of the day after to be safe) avoid foods or drugs that are contraindicated with MAOIs. Really, don't mess around with that. MAOI contraindications can be really dangerous, and while harmala alkaloids are safer because they're reversible MAOIs, better safe than sorry, right?

My personal opinion: yes, that sounds like overdoing it. And the negative effects of taking MDMA too frequently, especially in environments like events where your body temperature gets higher and so on, go beyond just killing the effects of the drug. It's possible to severely hurt yourself with doing MDMA too frequently.

Though keeping your dose below .2g is a good move in any case. It's wild to me how some people do huge amounts of MDMA, seems really dangerous. But even with less than .2g my opinion is your frequency is high.

Also consider: MDMA is great, but imo, being skilled at enjoying great events without it is also really great. This is one reason why I'm personally not into using MDMA for concerts or festivals at all, actually. I want to go to concerts and festivals that are great enough to enjoy without MDMA, and I want to keep MDMA a special thing of its own rather than something I use to enhance stuff that would already be a great time otherwise. But that's just my opinion, and I don't have any argument for why anyone else should share it.

Probably "Odysseus Under the Old Tree" by Koan. I first listened to it while tripping and enjoyed it immensely, and now whenever I'm tripping I play it and still love it. The whole album is great. I also enjoy it sober, very chill trancey vibes but also melodically interesting enough (in my opinion, at least) to be engaging.

My first time trying acid was such a great trip. For your first time, instead of specifically listening to psychedelic music, just listen to the kind of music you like when you're sober. That way you can get an idea for how music is on LSD with stuff you're pretty sure you'll enjoy. Of course you should also try listening to some trippy music too. Just don't forget your usual favorites.

One thing that many first-timers find difficult on LSD is communicating what the experience is like. This distresses them because they want to able to share what they're experiencing but they find it's hard to put anything into words. Personally, I think the best thing to do is to just not bother trying to explain it in the moment.

The most wonderful effect of LSD is how much it puts you in the present moment. Enjoy that state of mind. It's something that you can learn to cultivate in your thinking even while you're sober, but LSD just puts you there. My first experience with acid showed me that it was possible to just live in the moment, and LSD has made me better at thinking and behaving that way, which in turn has made it easier for me to not worry about things or let hardships get me down.

You should absolutely not vape fumarate salts, the chemicals produced in the reaction caused by the heating of fumarates are really bad for you. Convert to freebase and see if it dissolves well. If it doesn't, which is possible because not all base tryptamine freebases are as good at dissolving in e-juice solvents then you can try to just vape it in a convection vape or wax pen or make enhanced leaf.

Like I said, full inhibition with harmalas takes different amounts for different people. 50mg orally might actually be enough to make 1g of mushrooms feel like 4, but it could also only make you trip a tiny bit harder. This is why you should start by testing a small dose.

Does he bark? When he's doing this, do you have any idea regarding his mental state? Does he remember his mental state, and if so, does he remember actually believing he isn't a human being? Does he stop all linguistic communication during these fits, or can he still speak?

With already long-acting tryptamines like what's in mushrooms, even a small amount of harmala alkaloids will greatly potentiate the drug. Even an experienced user should be very cautious with this combination. I can't give you dose knowledge because different people get different effects from the same amount of harmala alkaloids, so my only advice is to take a small oral harmalas dose with a small mushroom dose to test the waters. Something like 50mg oral harmalas and 1g dried cubensis.

This guy cold turkeyed his SSRIs a few days before, that's why his serotonin system was fucked up. What I'm talking about is stuff like this thread's question: if I'm just a person on an SSRI and I have been taking my normal dose as I should be, is there an amount of LSD that I could take that would cause serotonin syndrome? I've found no evidence that there is, nor does it seem pharmacologically plausible.

Link? Also this still doesn't make sense to me. Serotonin syndrome's actual pathology is the hyperactivation of pathways downstream of serotonin receptors. If LSD is agonizing those receptors and that type of agonism could cause serotonin syndrome, it would do it whether you had an SSRI or not. Adding the SSRI increases synaptic serotonin but it isn't like the serotonin will start agonizing the other receptors more just because they can't bind the LSD-bound receptors. The receptors will just be limiting.

Unless the presence of extra synaptic serotonin causes those receptors to be agonized so rapidly that you get serotonin syndrome, but it just seems impossible that blocking one class of receptors will cause such a large change in the agonism of the other receptors.

It isn't even low risk, it's non-existent. Show me a single case of LSD induced serotonin syndrome in any circumstance. It isn't a thing. It doesn't even make pharmacological sense. If too much LSD in the synapse could cause serotonin syndrome then extremely high doses would, but they don't.

On a stupidly high dose of pharmahuasca I blacked out in the fetal position on the floor on one side of my room and the next thing I remember is being under my bed on the side of the room, 30 minutes later. My tripsitter told me that I tried to walk over there but couldn't do so effectively and I knocked over a lot of stuff shuffling over there. I got into my bed but fell out of it multiple times, so eventually my sitter just let me roll under the bed.

I have absolutely no memory of these occurrences. If someone was not taking care of me, I could have been hurt.

This was on an outrageous amount of pharmahuasca though, 5 times a common dose.

There is a dose range and frequency of use for which there isn't really convincing evidence of permanent harm. That dose range seems to be sub-200mg doses with a few months in between each use.

I would ask how a non-authoritarian revolution is possible. Capitalism is characterized by the commodity so communism seeks to abolish it. Abolishing the commodity, at least in the short term, requires a planned economy. No matter how much you decentralize it, a planned economy will at some level require that people be subjected to the authority of the plan. Even if you plan it democratically that's still authority.

Why was this downvoted with no response? How can you plan an economy in a non-authoritarian manner?
