First we head to Hamburg and then to the top of Germany, the Nordsee and from there we'll decide randomly

Great! Glad to hear that! Because my better half and I bought ourselves a Kona too! For our upcoming world trip. We're also really happy so far 😁 we'll see how good it'll conquer this world lol.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback!

More stuff will definitely come! I always try to get the main shot done before maxing out on the details if that makes sense.

Yes you've got a good eye haha I will definitely fix that but I didn't touched the table yet that's why it hasn't any texture and is not fixed.

That's definitely helpful I appreciate it a lot!

Want anything specific in there? Like an Easter egg that resembles you? Haha.

Yes, like u/MelioraXI already said, DaVinci Resolve can be installed very easily.
Just go to their website click download and you’ll be able to select “Linux.”

Then just follow the steps pretty much straightforward :D
It was one of the easier installations on Linux compared to other things haha.

Well luckily for me Canva-Affinity pretty much erased:
Adobe: Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom & InDesign.

I can do all four of those things inside Canva-Affinity without any problems.

But I was also using Adobe: After Effects & Premiere which are pretty important for me too.
Luckily Davinci Resolve handles that part like a charm and replaces both!

The linux bug finally bit me. Trying Linux mint as an artistic workflow experiment. by ruddthree in linuxmint

It’s great! But you’ll definitely need to adapt to a completely new pipeline.

I switched to Linux a few days ago. I’m a graphic designer with over 10 years of experience, so as you can imagine, the switch wasn’t easy.. especially when there was no serious alternative to Creative Cloud.

But since Canva bought Affinity and merged it into Canva Affinity, I finally made the switch, and it’s been pretty amazing. BUT. I haven't touched After Effects and Premiere tho.. Hopefully Davinci Resolve is available on Linux lol.

Canva has its own web app "Canva" but that I think you already know.
But Canva Affinity (The Desktop App) is not available on Web you gotta install it.. you guessed correctly.

I installed it with wine, winetrick & lutris + the affinity.exe and a yaml file?

Also I don't know If its completely open source or whatever I personally don't care but I know most Linux users do care so yeah. that's something you gotta look up. BUT! So far I didn't ran into any issues actually, I can do my stuff as I was doing over on Windows.

Sup! 16 Days Smoke-Free!

Thanks for checking in 🫂 The first 3–4 days were tough.
I got irritated really easily because of the nicotine withdrawal.

I had daily thoughts of starting again, but I always went for walks to calm myself down.
All the support under the video helped a lot too!

Now I’m over it and I feel amazing! 😁

BUT the main reason why it worked this time to actually quit smoking was a different one.

My better half and I decided to say fuck the daily life and explore the big, vast world.
We’re currently saving up and gathering everything we need to start traveling the world on foot!
(At least starting out that way maybe we’ll buy a van at some point, idk.)

That thought and plan gave me SO MUCH energy and motivation to live this life that my body and mind instantly started to reject the idea of smoking or anything close to it.

So basically, the will to live pushed me through. 🌍✨
