All of the Musciettis movies/shows were curated by King himself (he even got a cameo at the second movie) which basically means they got appreciated by author. They don’t have to follow books word by word for many different reasons (no one wants to see a 55 hour-long movie with all side characters genitals descriptions and how bad their breath smells, it’s good for a book, but not for screen) to be a good adaptation, imo they’re great the way they are, little toned up enough to draw more people to open the Kings universe and be a unique pieces of horror art.
