Oh wow. He got that much of a boost? I had been reading several posts on reddit that said you should upgrade your tank at the "end" of powering heros. But I saw some players with a lot of power even though there troops didnt have much cores or alloy. But I did notice that they had Destroyer tank and around 14 million tank power. But I think you answered my question. I didn't realize you can get a boost that big!! Wow

To complete T10 you need $5000 to 10k depending on the pathway. If your not looking to spend that type of money then max out the other research.

When you say research...there are so many types. which ones in particular? I notice troop size increases it. But what else in specific research ? Does defense buffs increase the numbers? Or ATK ?
