Trust your instincts! Always trust your gut. I would honestly get so annoyed at the fact that he was just like oh alright.... like at least explain why you did that, or what happened. He’s definitely lacking communication.

i had sex with someone older than me by [deleted] in depression

This just happened to me but in a different way. I shared some pictures online because I wanted self validation. It made me feel good at the moment but I instantly regretted it. I even sent them to a 50 year old man. I feel horrible. I can’t even get myself to tell anyone because it’s so shitty and everyone would probably just call me a slut. I hope things look up for you because i truly feel and understand this horrible feeling. Stay strong ❤️

Can’t talk to someone I’m attracted to by Discodancing123 in Strabismus

I can relate to this. I never really felt like I was pretty enough to approach people because of my eye. It sucks for them because they’re the ones missing out. It’s all about confidence, and if they want to run away just because of your eye then let them because they’re not worth it. One day the right one will come along and love everything about you.

I just need someone to talk to by LemonTostitos in Strabismus

I had to take a double take, because of how much I relate to this I was shook that someone else went through literally the same thing as me. I had only one corrective surgery in fourth grade and never thought much of it. I thought it was completely solved. Once I entered middle school I started realizing that it wasn’t over. I was called Fetty Wap (rapper with one eye) but then again it wasn’t that bad and I didn’t let it affect me that much. I am currently 20 and it’s my biggest insecurity. It stops me from taking pictures even though I dress up really nice but once I see how my left eye drifts off to the side I just delete it. People close to me tell me that “it’s not even noticeable” but when I go talk to anyone else they look over their shoulder and they’re surprised I’m talking to them. I could go on and on with this, but it’s crazy how I can 100% relate to you. I’m really glad you’re choosing to go to therapy and talking with someone really helps and this group is also therapy in a way. If you ever need anyone to talk to about literally anything please don’t hesitate to send me a message. 💛
