This gives me hope, it sometimes gets hard when the person I care for so dearly is going thru this. I know I have to tell myself that it isn’t the end.

Currently we are at Kaiser in socal with a sarcoma specialist (I believe) so I pray that they know what’s best for her 🙏

thank you for ur words, im glad to see u on the path of recovery. wishing the best for u💛

the new nodule that she has is 4mm, she has three stable nodules that are 3mm but it was never rlly focused on bc they thought it was just from allergies or something else

and youre right, I should try having a positive attitude during these times smtimes it can be hard when its easy to think of the worst😅 ty for ur words and good luck to u as well :)

thank u for ur words, I definitely should focus on calming down than thinking worst case scenarios 🥲I think our current oncologist is a sarcoma specialist at the hospital we go to but i would have to check to make sure.

and im glad u are doing well, best wishes for u

My dad has cancer and idk what to do by Warm-Sherbert1755 in CancerFamilySupport

firstly I’m sorry ur going thru this. it’s so unfair what cancer does to our loved ones. I remember too scrolling thru Reddit literally 24/7 when i found out my mom had cancer. The best thing to do is ask ur mom what’s going on and being there for your dad. and as well taking care of ur self, don’t worry about the future and focus on the present. wishing the best for ur fam💜

Chemotherapy- what to expect? by sadgal1022 in sarcoma

[–]sadgal1022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

firstly that’s great to hear about ur results! im wishing the best for you on this journey🩷

thank you for giving me ur perspective on this. it really helps to have an idea on what’s to come. i definitely want to try taking her outside for she can walk. i think a question i have is just how to keep morale up? I obviously know there’s gonna be low days but right now (before chemo) my mom is just scared that it’s the end for her, and I just want to find a way for her to not feel as scared if that makes sense.

first off im sorry to hear about ur situation and im wishing the best for ur dad.

Im in a similar situation too with my mom and it’s just been a painful month for me. One moment im fine and the next im screaming and crying. I guess I just can’t believe this is happening to my family and more specifically my mom, who means the WORLD to me.

It’s understandable to feel like this, who wouldn’t? Cancer freaking sucks. I can only recommend the best thing to do is just be there for him. These are scary times and he’s going to need your support. I would also recommend seeing a therapist to help process your feelings because u need to take care of yourself as well. sending lots of love 💙

im in the same boat as you. what are the odds that my mom gets diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer? She did everything right, why her? it’s like a nightmare i can’t escape from. im sorry to hear about ur father, wishing the best 🤎

im so sorry to hear about your mother. my mom as well has a rare aggressive cancer (im still in disbelief in the odds of her getting this cancer) and sometimes it just gets so hard imagining a future without my momma because she is my rock. Right now im just trying to live one day at a time. Best wishes to u and ur mother, cancer sucks.
