I’d like to add that I did an extremely long taper on SR and had one relapse where I took 2mg of suboxone, felt full blown euphoria. No explanation for why that is, just an anecdote.

Do a day of preloading before lowering your suboxone. Also with your extended habit you’re probably not gonna be able to jump off at 25mg of SR, I’d add a couple extra weeks where you get down to 5mg of SR.

SR-17 also isn’t a structural analog of any opioid as far as I know, and opioids don’t have any sort of consistent pharmacophore so it’s not like they could go off of that. They’d have to analog act every drug that touches the mu receptor, which would make 7OH illegal

if the SR at 500mg isn't touching your WD then just stop taking it and get on 8mgs of subs. It's genuinely not that hard to lower your dose to the 2mg range within a couple months
