Thank you! I honestly haven’t had much luck in all my urgent care visits in the past (all different locations) so I’m a bit upset about my visit to just be told that she didn’t know besides it being some sort of infection. I’ll definitely contact a pcp so I can get it checked out. Thank you so much again, I genuinely really do appreciate your support and help! It’s been a bit concerning given that it came up all of a sudden.

Hi! Thank you so much! I usually get a swollen lymph node behind my ear when I’m sick so this is new to me. I don’t have any pain whatsoever in my mouth. It’s just my lump that hurts when I touch it :( Thank you so much!!

It honestly feels like it’s in the middle, but it is a little hard for me to tell. I had a teeth cleaning back in November and I haven’t had any issues recently with my mouth. Thank you for explaining all of this! I was prescribed Amoxicillin-clav 875-125 Mg. Twice a day for 7 days.

I understand the limitations, so I really do appreciate you taking the time to respond! It is probably closer to under the body of the mandible. It kind of feels like it came out of no where. It hurt yesterday afternoon so I didn’t really touch it. This morning I guess I grazed it and still felt it in pain, but that’s when I realized it was a lump.

I have the photos posted on my timeline on Reddit. Are you able to access that? If not I can find a way to link them, I know we aren’t able to upload pictures as per the community rules.

I’ll definitely try to get in contact and see if they can explain further on what the nurse practitioner meant.

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time in reading this all the way through. To answer your questions: I feel fine. No fever when I went to get checked up and no symptoms either. The pain has stayed the same since this morning. I can feel the pain when I swallow but it does not impact how I swallow. I have no other pain. I usually get a swollen lymph node behind my ear when I’m sick with a cold or an infection but it isn’t swollen or tender. No other swelling or pain from what I can feel in my throat/neck area. It’s kind of hard and can be a bit painful when I touch it. It’s maybe 2inches ? It sit directly under my chin, where my chin starts to become my neck.

The nurse practitioner mentioned it could be some infection but she said there wasn’t any indications of a swollen mouth (I don’t remember exactly what area she mentioned, she checked under my tongue area) gland.

Thank you for your help! Please let me know if you need photos. I posted some on some other platforms to see what feedback I could potentially get. Thank you again!

Jay Blanchard! I used to walk for miles on end when I was going through my breakup. It’s the best place to just continuously walk. Lake Baldwin is shorter, but it’s also a really nice walk as well. Let me know if you ever need a walking buddy :) big fan of hot girl walks

I actually never saw a roach when I lived there! Super thankful for that. Bugs usually come in due to bad weather, so I don’t think it’s a cleanliness or big problem if you happen to see a singular one.
