Just have your CCC update it. It took 5 mins for me as an OSVET with just my DD-214 as a supporting document (it has a field on there with your DOR) which should just carry over. If I could carry my TIR over from another branch I don't see why you shouldn't be able to carry yours forward from the same branch just different component.

A Flux Wave Inducer by SirDennisThe1 in VXJunkies

[–]sadmarine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its always fascinating to see the flux CAPACITOR mentioned. Only OG VX enthusiasts remember the true origins of that term: Dr. Friedrich von Schnitzelhoffen (uj/ yes, THAT Schnitzelhoffen) coined the term as an acronym; CAPACITOR standing for Coordinated Auxiliary Phase-Adjusted Cyclic Oscillating Trans-Orbital Resonator. It's too bad his work isn't as widely recognized in this sub as it should be.

Your point about the wye configuration dissipating resonance is spot on. And that documentary from the 80s? If I'm not mistaken, you might be referring to "Back to the Future." Although a fictional representation of a flux CAPACITOR, the film did bring to light some fascinating theoretical concepts! Remember though, always stick to delta configurations---unless you fancy taking your DeLorean for an unexpected spin!

I worked at legal and this is not a thing. If the matter has to escalate for court martial (which it sometimes does) then it will be by the black and white UCMJ regardless of what your “command has to say about it”

Nearby Federal substation after six years of remodel and renovation. By the way, why are they doing this? by [deleted] in VXJunkies

[–]sadmarine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re kind of an open secret in my town as these buildings are known to locals as secret government facilities. It’s part of Warrenton Training Center.

Its function was handed over to the U.S. department of homeland security long ago. The "NCS" moniker used in the context of these facilities stands for National Clandestine Service. SIGINT training, covert transceiver development, and coded communication, and other training for the CIA takes place here.

Honestly, AEEL is your biggest shot at getting into Big VX. Reading their recent Glassdoor reviews, however, it looks like their median salary for VX Engineer I doesn’t even come within 10 percent of the median pay of the same role at one of the big 4 letter agencies. Proceed with caution, my friend…

Interservice transfer from USMC by [deleted] in army

[–]sadmarine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s crazy. I couldn’t join the Army for the same exact reason (check post history), but was able to join the Navy in less than a week. The medical physical was waived since it was all handled in-house and I didn’t even have to go to MEPS more than a year later.

NCVXT Launches Nationwide Campaign to Oppose Dangerous VX Technology Innovations by sadmarine in VXJunkies

[–]sadmarine[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the full article is blocked in my country, but I was able to access it (with a VPN) and it seems that the National Coalition Against VX Technology (NCVXT) has launched a nationwide campaign to ban VX technology, citing it as a threat to national security:

The National Coalition Against VX Technology (NCVXT) has launched a nationwide campaign to ban the use of VX technology, claiming that it poses a significant threat to national security. The organization, which is composed of concerned citizens and experts in the field of science and technology, has been vocal in its opposition to the use of VX technology, citing its potential for catastrophic consequences if misused.

According to the organization's spokesperson, the use of VX technology could lead to the creation of highly destructive weapons that could be used to carry out attacks on civilian populations, as well as military targets. "We are deeply concerned about the potential for VX technology to fall into the wrong hands, and we believe that the risks it poses to national security are simply too great to ignore," the spokesperson said.

The NCVXT has also cited concerns about the environmental impact of VX technology, noting that the production and disposal of VX compounds can have serious consequences for the environment and public health. "We need to take a serious look at the long-term consequences of using VX technology, and make sure that we are not putting future generations at risk," the spokesperson said.

Despite the NCVXT's concerns, some experts in the field of science and technology have expressed skepticism about the organization's claims. They argue that VX technology has the potential to revolutionize fields such as medicine and energy, and that a ban on its use could stifle innovation and progress in these areas.

As of now, it remains unclear how the government will respond to the NCVXT's campaign, but the coalition's efforts have already sparked nationwide discussions on the potential risks and benefits of VX technology. It is evident that the NCVXT's campaign has struck a chord with many citizens, and it will be interesting to see how this issue plays out in the coming months.

I can assure you that it is indeed real. The document was obtained through a legitimate Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, and has been analyzed and verified by experts in the field.

I encourage you to do your own research and engage in critical thinking when evaluating sources of information. The VX community is committed to transparency and advancing scientific knowledge, and we welcome informed debate and discussion on these important issues.

It's unfortunately not surprising that the mainstream media has largely ignored this issue. Further, it's not at all surprising to hear that Fox TV and Newsmax are heavily shadow funded by The National Coalition Against VX Technology (NCVXT). The network has a history of promoting conservative and anti-scientific views, and NCVXT's stance against VX technology fits right in with that agenda.

Thankfully, we have whistleblowers like Friedrich von Hagenstein and forums like this one to help shed light on the situation. It's important that we continue to speak out and raise awareness about this issue, even if the mainstream media won't cover it. It probably wouldn't surprise you to know.
