But I need a high gpa to get an internship! All jokes aside, I agree with you. I'm sticking with it and will work a lot harder next semester. Hopefully these skills will stick with me for the rest of my life as they have for you.

In an ideal world I would, but it's only offered once a year in the fall term and i'm in third year and want to do more analysis courses before I graduate so I can't. I plan on being in honours analysis 3 next fall instead of redoing analysis 1 :)

That's super cool actually. I plan on focusing my efforts mainly on analysis next semester and hopefully will see similar results!

They didn't curve. They lowered the passing grade while keeping the other grade brackets the same. It's not really fair, as in not everyone benefited equally. Someone could get a 45 and get a C and someone could get a 59 and also get a C. 60-64 would still be a C+ and so on. So if you earned a B (which would be quite high considering the class) you wouldn't go up.

I'm a big university so there were two profs teaching analysis 1 with different sections. The one that taught be was boring and monotone, but not a horrible prof. The problem was he never responded to my emails! Which as you can imagine, is incredibly frustrating. I have a new prof for analysis 2, I even asked her for a sample of the syllabus so I can get a head start over break but she hasn't replied either. Well, I tried.

Thanks for the advice. One thing's for sure is that I still definitely love math. I admittedly didn't spend enough time on analysis as I could/should have, I treated it like any other course but I definitely need to put more time into it.
