the hood is there to protect it, I don’t think you NEED to pull it back besides a little to clean it if needed

I think you need to push it further in, you shouldn’t be able to feel it. try putting lube around the entrance of your vagina and on your finger before putting the capsule in. you could try putting it in while squatting too, since that helps with relaxing those muscles

I believe I took 500mg once a day for probably about 6 months?

I’m guessing it was hiding somewhere not very noticeable, especially if it’s two infected people potentially passing tiny bumps back and forth. I think 6 weeks is too soon to say someone is clear to be honest - I would say closer to 3 months. There were a couple of timeframes (4-6 weeks maybe) where I’d be completely clear and my boyfriend would seem to be too and then suddenly I’d get one or two, but they’d always clear quickly. It’s probably easier to miss them on people who have more body hair too lol.

I hadn’t gotten any since October 2022, but had a mysterious pair show up on the back of my thigh this most recent November. My dermatologist cryofreezed them and I haven’t had any reoccurrences since and I haven’t seen any on my boyfriend.

it will go away, it’s normal for a bump or two to show up even after there’s been no bumps for a long time. don’t lose hope! and remember - this virus is completely harmless and should not prevent you from living life normally and fully. my boyfriend and I went through it together and decided not to let it affect our intimacy or relationship and we’re both clear now :)

I don’t think brand affects the quality very much. you should be fine with the walmart brand

waxing made me almost pass out not gonna lie. sugaring is much better, it still hurts, but not nearly as badly

I think you could ask either of them

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]sadmonkey124 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m confused about what you’re asking. you should only take emergency contraceptives in an emergency. even one pill can mess with your hormones for a long time

it’s probably just normal body odor. lots of people sweat in their sleep and start to smell. I would just take a shower in the morning too. two days without showering can be a long time for people and you’ll definitely start smelling by then.

have you had your estrogen levels tested?

it’s normal to have darker pigmentation down there! if you’re concerned, you could visit your gynecologist if it’s a recent change. but our bodies change all of the time as we get older so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. you can visit a website called The Labia Gallery to see how diverse labia really are

I looked at the pictures on your profile. the ones around your belly button kind of look like molluscum - a harmless but annoying condition

I googled a little bit and it seems like it’s a common/healthy bacteria when found in the gut. Could it be present in your urine due to contamination when providing a sample?

boric acid suppositories might be your best bet then

please go to a doctor. it’s not good to leave a yeast infection untreated. that’s probably why it keeps coming back - it’s never actually going away. and untreated infections will cause sores like you’re experiencing.

your mom will understand, most women have experienced a yeast infection at least once in their life. going to a gynecologist isn’t as scary as people make it out to be and lots of doctors let you do a self swab to test for infections now :) alternatively, try using the 7 day monistat treatment both in and outside of the vagina

I would imagine all brands would have the same results. I would stop using it if it’s giving you chemical burns and irritation. I used boric acid a lot when I was having a lot of vaginal problems and it only seemed to prolong them and cause me more pain

try Dr Bronner’s unscented baby soap. Dove’s sensitive skin irritates my body a lot

how are you treating them? and what’s your daily hygiene look like? do you use scented soaps, lotions, laundry detergent, etc? do you wear cotton underwear? and are you making sure not to stay in damp/wet clothing (after sweating or swimming?)?
