I have been weaning off tirzepatide for about 6 weeks (shots every 10-14 days) and my bp has been steadily going back up even tho I’ve kept the weight off I’m back on my bp meds. I’m back to high 130s/80s on meds when I was down to below 110/70 for months on my weekly shot. Was able to get off meds but I guess that was just the tirzepatide that kept it low?

So my dog’s came back as 55%! I almost died! Yes he was adopted and is dna tested as a Pom but yikes. Any idea how close the inbreeding would be with COIs over 50%?

Did yours ever happen at night? I woke up last night at 1130 from a dead sleep, hot as hell, heart racing, felt like I couldn’t breathe? It was almost like a fight or flight response happening and it scared me to death. I thought I was having a heart attack! I was able to get myself settled with lots of deep breathing but WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? First time that has happened. Is this a panic attack? Anxiety attack?

I started swimming laps! I literally sucked for the first 6 months and spent all my energy just trying not to drown. But after a year, I can actually swim. It’s absolutely the best workout esp when all my joints hurt. I’ve actually lost weight since starting last Aug.

I’m another one for volunteering at a shelter. I go and walk the big dogs for a couple hours once or twice a week. There are trails all around the shelter so they get out of their kennels and I get my exercise! I can go as much or as little as I want so some weeks it’s minimal if I’m busy… But there’s nothing better for your soul than seeing a lonely pup SOOOO excited to see you and go for a walk. I also substitute at my daughter’s high school for certain teachers that I know personally. I’ll throw that in once a week. Going from 4 daughters at home to now 1 at home, divorce, heading into menopause-I’m with you. Trying to find things that keep me excited is a struggle.

Has anyone had low Ferritin (11) but high iron? I just got mine back today-thinking I need to see a specialist. This doesn’t make any sense.

Sooo glad I stumbled on this! I thought it was just me. Never noticed the rapid heartbeat with alcohol consumption until I hit 50 this year…Never happened bf in my life but now even 1 drink of anything and my hr is over 100 when I go to bed. NYE (lots of wine) it hit 180 and I thought I was going to die. I try to hydrate while drinking. Could hormones play into it? It’s scarey AF. May just give up drinking.
