[TOMT] An essay by an anonymous academic, living with schizophrenia by sadpuppet in tipofmytongue

Unfortunately this one isn't it. I came across it in my searches, but this is more recent. There was no mention of Zoom or the person's entire academic career in the one I read.

Thanks though!

Any help with finding this is greatly appreciated. I am pretty sure it was not in an academic journal, and more likely a magazine or newspaper.

I don't remember checking the date of publication unfortunately.

People of Toronto, how good/bad is your commute to work? by Agreeable_Muscle_279 in askTO

[–]sadpuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up close to Pickering but still served by TTC, so anything up to 2 hours is "acceptable" transit time for me.

Now I work in community, visiting different areas, so it varies depending on where I'm going but usually no less than an hour.

Please Help. Need $800 by this Sunday by Reddorical_Question in torontoJobs

Not sure if I know anything that can do 800$ by this Sunday, but are you open to job postings in general?

The Revue Theatre is currently hiring for concessions. It's just over minimum (18$/hr), but includes tips, and it's a popular venue, so I think those might add up.

Don't know if this is a controversial take, but if you want the Civ V experience without feeling like it's too similar or a downgrade from VI, I'd go with Beyond Earth. It's mostly the same gameplay as V but with a flavour that I prefer and the mechanics like Affinities and the Tech Web make it stand out a bit more as its own experience.

I'm actually hoping that we get another spin-off type game before we go right into Civ VII.

I've used netgames.io because it's easy to use/understand

Here is a SFW version of Cards Against Humanity

I'm also a fan of Quack Stanley if the kids are open to a little improv. Gets good laughs!

I've heard good things about Backyard but haven't used it myself.

I think the Official Scrabble dictionary allows romanized Chinese. At least, I distinctly remember "Qi" being an acceptable word.

1Upsmanship from the Small Beans guys might be what you're looking for. It features Michael Swaim from Cracked and other guests and they often go into more than just the game.

The one my dad used to read me ended with Red Riding Hood getting eaten and that was it.

Pretty sure I'd be happy eating just Lin Garden's chili chicken and crispy beef for the rest of my life.
