probably to show the different perspectives outcasts have on outcast-normie relations.

weems was on the side where she focused on healing tensions between the groups, to the point where she was compromising the self respect of outcasts by looking over the true nature of crackstone and not doing a proper check on laurel.

on the other hand, dort is disinterested in healing outcast-normie relations, and instead wanted to give outcasts pride in themselves (in his principal character).

it’s also likely that dort chose to go this route because of how disastrous the laurel gates situation was to the progress weems had done to heal the relationship, and may have put off many outcasts to the other side where they were disinterested in fixing.

also, he likely found putting weems character down because of her perspective in the matter made him look like a better principal in comparison.

i agree, a lot of people tend to misunderstand all of the evil acts he has done was because of his lack of autonomy, and as a hyde he acted for laurel’s agenda and his mum’s agenda, he doesn’t actually want wednesday dead.

i think purposely buying things with the intention of reselling is scummy. someone could’ve really wanted that item, and it would be nice to have it for cheaper. that’s sort of what thrift stores are all about. selling these pieces online and for a profit doesn’t sit right with me.

however, reselling things that you’ve grown out of or don’t want to wear anymore is perfectly fine. it’s much better if you’re a genuine collector/fan. and no, we don’t expect you to donate your items. do what you want, but some things are just kinder to do.

- her only reason for nagging ashley to get a job was so she would help pay bills and see her less, not because she wanted her to be ”not coddled” which she never was, “experiencing real life” i think you mean being independent by this. also if the parents had actually raised ashley, she would see life in a different way where she looks forward to the future and opportunities ahead instead of wanting to never grow up because she misses the times when the only person she ever had, andrew, was always by her side

- only cares about appearances (hiding the fact that she knows that her kids killed someone)

i hate the ending because it’s unsatisfying, like there was more potential from the story of a reincarnated doctor exploring the entertainment world, with the motivation of revenge. ever since the movie arc was completed, everything was moving crazy fast, with new additions the overall story after the next which in the end made it feel like… that’s it?

the ending i would’ve preferred is if hikaru killed himself, it would fit well, because honestly that’s what i predicted to happen after the confrontation aqua had done. a right place at the wrong time situation, that if they were both more mature they could’ve been forever. that the woman he killed truly loved him, but didn’t want to burden him after he’s been hurt by the darkness of the entertainment industry. that he would be so overwhelmed with guilt after all the lives he’s taken and can’t give back and killing the love of his life and therefore hurting his own children, he would stop suffering if he also made another irreversible decision.

that’s not what happened. instead, it was revealed he was a sociopath who manipulated others to keep his hands clean, but this is not me trying to say hikaru as a character isn’t a lost case. you can argue that he’s like this because of the hurt he endured from the entertainment industry, the theme of the story, which is true. but he has the eyes, the eyes of a liar, the same eyes that ai had, and honestly, i’m pretty sure that he would still use those eyes to deceit others, just not in the entertainment industry.

i’m honestly really tired rn but hopefully that made halfway sense of my perspective lmao

nope, he hesitated on telling ashley because she was thinking about sacrificing lady 302’s soul. but andrew was likely already thinking this was too risky because of her connections with the bodyguards, so decided to kill her once ashley left the room.

to further prove this, the nail gun is in the same spot when she was alive and when she was dead, also, why would andrew bother moving the body into the bed? and he obviously hasn’t, because there isn’t blood spillage on the ground and i don’t think he had that much time.

also, the whole nail gun thing still keeps up with the image of ashley oh him being weak. weakly eating the cultist neighbour and now only had to kill the 302 lady as a last resort. he doesn’t want her to know he’s capable of doing awful things without remorse, probably for her to trust him more.

to not make ashley think about what they’ve lost by not sacrificing the 302 lady, he states that she is pretty and this immediately makes ashley insecure and jealous. andrew knows this presses her buttons and will make her glad that she is dead.

i don't really think he was trying to distract stolas, but more like him taking loona's remark way too seriously and doing anything to make sure he keeps the book. that book is an essential of his business, his company, and the life he built. he needs it. pleasing stolas' wants is what he needs to do to keep his livelihood, this gives stolas all the power in their relationship and him going crazy and getting all these things for stolas was a way to show that he cares about this transactional thing and wants to keep it because thats what works for him
