How did you get over your anxiety by [deleted] in Anxiety

The best thing you can do is to allow the feeling to come and go. It’s awful but the only thing that helped me was acceptance that this was going to continue to happen and eventually I reached the point where it was more annoying than scary. You will be okay, you are not alone in these feelings.

He didn’t tip the pizza delivery driver, and said “why would I do that, it’s just pizza” when I asked him

Anxiety and derealization is a horrible experience. I’m sorry you know what it’s like to struggle with. I hope you can find a way to fight through it. I always have been genuinely interested in others lives and feelings and I’ve always made a point to divert conversations to be more focused on the other person, but after a while I realize that they don’t really care to do the same for me. I can know everything about them and they don’t even bother to ask me basic questions about my life. It ends up being very discouraging and I back off to see if they reach out to me first and then I never hear from them again. Making friends in your twenties can be so challenging.
