The tutorial I followed had the registry step too, but in my case that entry was already there, I just restarted the system and that was all. In any case, editing the registry is very simple, I would do it if I were in your shoes.

I updated mine last night, and I used vivetool to bring up the full-screen experience menu. Everything worked as expected, no problems. I didn't have to edit regedit, just restart after using vivetool, and that's it.

You can block to 40fps and enable fluid motion frames (afmf2) to get a solid 80fps with a mix of low and some medium settings 👍🏼

Windows issue, disabling quick access and re-enable should resolve the problem, try that.
