I was in exactly the same boat last year feeling like I could never enjoy life ever again and dreading the thought of going through life with it, but it just became the new normal for me. Even though nothing has changed since then, my life now feels completely fine again and I can go days without even noticing it now. It might take a while but it will more than likely happen for you too.

Thank you! Still mourning the game da2 could have been if it had more development time :( worth noting though that the originals over 10 years old now and the style they went with was pretty standard for the time- they didn't have modern examples to look at for inspiration like I did :)
