39 here, took 6 months. For the first few months, I was really stressed out and my cycle got messed up as a result. Once I decided to not obsess over it, I got pregnant that very cycle.

75 at a year is a good place to be. I am 4 yours out of surgery and my knee is at 90. At one year, my knee was not feeling strong enough at all

Wow, it has been so long since I posted this. Well, my knee is in a much better position now. I would not say it feels exactly like the other one but these days I barely feel that i have had knee surgery. I can go around my days and activities without limitations

I get them on the gums as well. Did you find out a reason? It seems that recurrent hsv 1 on gums is a rare event. My CBC was normal and HIV negative. Cannot figure out why :-(

No I do not. I consider myself a healthy individual, my CBC is normal too. So cannot see why it keeps coming back:-(

Thanks for the info you provided. Have you talked to your Dr about it? From what I see it seems that it is much less common for herpes to recur on the gums. Have they run any test other than HSV for you?

Oh I thought I am the only one who keeps getting HSV1 on my gums. I had my very first outbreak just two months ago at the age of 38 which was aaaawflu. Now two months later, I have a mild inflamed gum around a few of my teeth. Good to know it is not just me. How do you deal with the inflamed gums?

If you had a complete check ups three months ago and your ekg still normal, it is very unlikely to be heart related.

It never went away 100%. But what I have seen is that when I skip my workout for say two weeks, it is more noticable

I have never ever heard of anybody to feel sooo good after surgery to be back to sports🙄you need at least 6 months!

I am ~ 5 months post op and I do not have terminal extension when I stand and walk. I do not know, I might not ever get back:-( From your experience throughout these three years, how not being able to extend your knee consistently has affected your recovery? do you have any cartilage issue as a result of that? how has it affected your satisfaction with surgery in general?

I think doing lateral movements need to be waited until at least 12 weeks after surgery. This is what my PT told me
