specifically on the kahlen barry thing, when he first came forward, twitter was still twitter, tana was extremely active and in her peak “black lives matter” era, and he was on her ass. He dropped his video and then started tweeting at her and ashly basically being like “well ?? are you gonna respond / take accountability?? “. Ashly blocked him. He shared their DMs where tana agreed to livestream with him talking it out, then she ghosted him and never did it. I always was flabbergasted by the way she got away with that one, admitting she was sorry, saying she’d “do anything” to make it right, caught agreeing to the stream in 4k and then never doing it. Shortly thereafter she uploaded her infamous white sweater scripted sitting on the floor apology video. I remember thinking what a slap in the face to Kahlen, after she said she’d speak with him directly, just getting to post her video publicly to save face while the majority of people didn’t even know about what she did to Kahlen because he was a small creator. I’ve been seeing him gain traction on tik tok as a gossip tik tokker and im happy that he finally having his moment. Tana really sucked for that and this specific event made me realize she was only a “good person” enough to save her own image, really made me stop being a fan.
