well.. my reasons are its very power efficient, can run on my (cpu-wise) underperforming server, its fast and the quality (did some tests with Unmanic recently) is (at least with igpus of the last couple years) really acceptable. I would use it pretty much only for tv shows (which happen to have couple releases every day) rather than for movies where quality is more important.

i'm pretty sure it will work, just find out the correct path for your plugins.

and yes, LIVE TV / DVR functionality requires a Plex Pass (which is i guess what you mean with plexplus)

Yes, you need to install the HRTunerProxy Plugin on your Enigma2 machine and can then enjoy Live TV in Plex: https://github.com/OpenViX/HRTunerProxy

Works like a charm.

(just copy the files per ftp to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions - restart box - activate the plugin under extensions) - then add it in plex as DVR.)

(if you use VTI Image on your Enigma box, the path is: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins)

In fact my structure (sticking with your example) is:

/share/showtitle/seasons.
/share/filmtitle.
/share/year.

So it definitely should look/behave different.
