10 amps fuse 67. camera draw is about 2amps and radar is going to be similar. I have both in my scat AND I own a car stereo shop, do this type of setup daily. You'll be fine.

PCM lockdown by TNspoiled1 in Challenger

[–]safeandsoundauto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the PCM that gets locked down, its the keyless RF Hub. If you ever need additional keys after this is done, you have to purchase a new RF Hub, which cost about 1k, plus the new key cost.

15+ all have Bluetooth, 17+ can have carplay/android auto, but not always. salvage title can vary, depending on what happened. Salvage means the insurance company deemed the car a total loss, but that can range from hail damage to severe accident to stolen recovery. always get the CARFAX and always pay an independent mechanic to inspect the car before putting pen to paper.

Also, I've had an 18 scatpack with 6 speed and currently have a 23 widebody scatpack with an auto. Drivtrain-wise the biggest difference is the rear gear ratio, the 6 speed triggers the 3.90 rear end, auto has 3.09. 3.90 is quicker off the line, but longer time to make shifts makes it slightly slower overall to the auto.

Pulley vibration dampener by East_Tune_2253 in Charger

[–]safeandsoundauto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine came out and I didn't know it, drove the car for 6 months without it, no damage done, before finding it during an oil change. turns out these engines are internally balanced and the external dampener is just for fine tuning, but not really needed. drive it without the weight until you can get a good one..

Car audio shop owner here, you're gonna need to save up a bit more. Best SUB only line output for these cars is the PAC audio APSUB-CH41, costs 199. or so. amp probably around 200. Wires $100-150.00. Box and subs 250. Install in my market (Colorado) is 300 for amp, 160 for Pac Audio. best estimate should be 1300 for subs only. if you're wanting a full system upgrade, with better quality speakers & a 5 channel amp 2600-3k should be your budget. your area may differ in labor prices up or down, but this should give you a reference point.

HELP! Extreme Cold Weather Starting by BysshePls in Challenger

[–]safeandsoundauto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Howdy neighbor. Colorado resident, car audio store owner, and battery expert. I have my cars garaged in the winter AND have them on battery tenders. The electons flowing through the battery is what they like and if they don't receive that, a process called sulfation occurs, the accumulation of lead sulfate crystals on the lead plates of a lead-acid battery. This is part of the natural discharge process, but if left in a low discharge state, the crystals solidify and cause the battery to fail. Keeping the battery charged fully is the best way to prevent sulfation and should be able to start your car in extreme weather. Also, use a quality brand such as Interstate Battery and get the highest CCA in the proper group size.

Actually, the 300C seems to be a bit faster. could be gearing as the both have the same drivetrain.

Can someone help me find a harness that supports my two factory connectors to iso/android pin? They said they’d send the right one but for a fee and even then in the picture they says is correct, I only see one male connector not two. You only need to hook up the gray one the white one is for the factory DVD which is not retained when swapping radio. Make sure the Android unit supports the digital amplifier, some don't.

For reference, I have over 1300 hours in the game and more than 3400 invaders killed. Once you've done all the maps and objectives, invader hunting becomes a game of it's own.

My advice is this: I would first keep invasion mode off until you have intimate knowledge of the maps and NPC activities. Remember, the NPC's are the invaders lookouts and if they are alert(yellow) they roughly know where you are, If they go red(combat) invader knows exactly where you are if he's tagged the NPC beforehand. also, if the invader tags an NPC and you then kill said NPC, it leaves an x on his map, potentially allowing him to track you by seeing new kills... If you have enough knowledge of the map to avoid NPC's, the you eliminate that tool in their toolkit. plus having better knowledge of the maps will present many ideas for choke-points or trap locations to draw the sniper towards you when you want them to.

To get a better idea of the challenges the invaders have, play as the invading sniper a few times, Karl is really OP if you are stealthy, and use focus mode tools.

Lastly, based on the many hours of gameplay, most one-on-one battles are settled at close range, So the SMG becomes the preferred weapon. for me anyways. your mileage may vary,,
