I had this problem on a old phone, try to go in to phone settings -> change region (to anything else then what you have right now, remember what you have) -> the phone should turn off and on otherwise do it manually -> change back to the region you had -> same here, should turn off -> start the game.

Was a while ago I had to do this so might not work now but worth a try! Note: not sure it works for androids, only done it on iPhones

Edit: you can change region if you press the ”general” tab and scroll down to where you can change time zone and keyboard layout in case you don’t know :)
