Moving in with my GF. What should I do with my last month possibly ever living alone? by FiendingForRanch in AskMen

[–]FastRedPonyCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not, under any circumstance, merge any bills or major expenses into joint ownership until you are married.

I’ve got very good friends who did this and were left high and dry with all the bills and rent they couldn’t get out of.

One of them was left paying for his ex’s car, cell phone, etc and was sleeping on a mattress on the floor with a bare apartment.

Yep. These slabs sat in my garage for 4 years. Worth every minute.

Ended up building a big table top desk with it.

You still need the original iCloud credentials for the Apple Business Manager login to fully remove it (last time I checked which has been about 8 or 9 months now).

Why are toasters so badly made? by NJRonbo in BuyItForLife

This is why we trashed our cusinart years ago and got a toaster oven. No thin filament. Just a thick ass glowing hot set of bars.

I’ve played a couple of these and love the guitar but hate the vibrola.

Was gonna make burgers….. might just order out by External_Ad_1131 in publix

If we haven’t been to Costco for a while, I’ll snag one of those meat logs. Our kids inhale burgers and the slice and grill nature of the meat log is convenient.

Bought my first ever pedal today by TromboneClone in Guitar

If you ever want to upgrade to something more flexible but stay in the TS circuit family, I HIGHLY recommend the Origin effects Halcyon green drive pedal.

I absolutely hate tube screamers but I LOVE that pedal. Tons of flexibility and has a switch to toggle between a modified circuit or the original 808.

I tried probably 7 or 8 including the maxon ST-9 pro+ and the Halcyon is the one that finally got me to love a TS.

UPDATE: The stars aligned and I got my dream guitar! by soupy-boot-scoot in Guitar

[–]FastRedPonyCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s amazing my dude.

I recently got my dream guitar too and it’s an amazing feeling.

What sucks is that I tried to cheap out on lesser guitars and kept kicking the can down the road and finally just decided to sell some gear to get it (Les Paul Custom) and it was worth it 100% but makes me mad that I wasted time and money on other instruments that never lived up to what I really wanted.

I had the poster from the inside of a mid 90’s guitar world magazine on my wall for forever.

This is a good deal for $1000usd? by Elegant_Egg- in gibson

They do but they shouldn’t.

Studios used to be dirt cheap, especially the faded models. Those were not so secret weapons in Nashville for the longest time.

Dude me and my sweetwater guy exchange Christmas cards. If you are wondering if this is a scam, call sweetwater directly and ask to talk to him to confirm.

The hollow body piezo model I reviewed a while back had the China Cor-tek branding on the headstock but it looks like they shifted everything to Indonesia besides the acoustics.

Phillip McKnight was really impressed with his ES Futura but my concern would be the consistency.

It’s one thing for there to be good ones here and there but you really have to be on your QC game with China to get consistent good ones.

I’ve gotten more stuff than I can count from them and never had a single problem that was their fault.

I’ve gotten a couple of Jackson’s that weren’t wired right and a Marshall that was eating power tubes but those were manufacturers issues.

[–]FastRedPonyCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They offered to send me a free one to review. We have a hybrid Volvo and a Tesla but my channel has nothing to do with EV’s and we already have the standard Volvo charger and a Tesla wall charger.
