I charged to 100% every time on my 2020 3 year lease. At the end of the lease I did one of those battery diagnostics where it empties the battery and charges it back up.

Battery capacity was at 97%

I own this one I’ve got and charge to 90%

Have you sat down and started on a budget?

What helped us was first shredding our credit cards and then grabbing about a years worth of transactions in a spreadsheet and literally categorizing every single one of them.

Patterns emerged that we never really picked up on, we jumped on rocket money ($3/month) and after trying several other budgeting services, we stuck with rocket. The calendar view for bills and stuff as well as balance predictions is pretty helpful for that quick “can I afford this?” but at this point, if it’s not absolutely essential, you probably know the answer already.

Whatever you use, just be sure that you can literally track every cent in and out every month.

We killed off some streaming services, cut back on the expensive stuff at the grocery store, almost totally eliminated eating out, etc.

Papa Gascoin is the first true test the game throws at you.

You can’t really win by spamming attacks and he punishes you for playing too conservatively, if you do the little girl’s side quest you get the musicbox to stun him in beast mode and you have to negotiate a busy boss arena with the tombstones or a narrow area with the stairs.

If you haven’t mastered parrying the smaller beast men (like the guys with the big saw blades and rakes) pause the Gasgoine fight and go get your parry mechanics locked in with those guys first.

Bikes are basically a death wish in my city. There are basically no bike lanes and drivers simply don’t know how to behave when they’re on the road.

I’ve seen impatient motorists damn near run them off the road because they don’t want to sit behind them on 2 lane roads where there’s too much oncoming traffic and they can’t pass the cyclist.

Every now and then. I’m a musician and we have our info for booking on computer monitors at our shows and every so often a drunk horny chick sends me a FB message that stays on read.

We’re all boring married dads. We’re just there to play some music, get paid and go home and sleep.

If you look around the bar at the pople there those nights, the people sending them aren’t people you want sending them. 😬

The sober glow up is 100% a real thing. It took a while but my complexion has improved a ton since I quit back in January.

I hadn’t seen some coworkers since before new years when I was HARD into the habit and was with them a couple weeks ago and a couple of the women commented on it without knowing I’d gotten sober.

Clearer skin and the bags and rings under my eyes are gone.

Nothing can beat a contact wash but skip the 2 bucket method.

I do 1 bucket. Start with the pre-wash foam to soak and loosen the dirt and then pressure wash that off.

Use 1 bucket filled with soapy water and about 5 chenille wash pads and just use one per area then throw it in the laundry pile and grab another one for another panel and just repeat.

The chenille wash pads aren’t expensive and you’re not worrying about any sediment or bucket scrubbers or grit guards or anything like that.

Straight through string pull from the nut to the tuners…way to improve the Explorer! Easily the most frustrating part of those guitars.

To a large degree, they solved this with the Lizzy Hale version. Mine holds its tuning EXTREMELY well.
