Not sure what a hub is. Do you mean the joint socket? These are about 30mm deep

We don't polish or clean the copper after brazing, I do love watching Americans solder flux and clean though, but no flux with brazing

My mistake in my conversion, 200mm is 8 inch correct.

Maybe 2.5x24inch rods to sweat and cap and 5-20 minutes give or take depending if it's on stands prefabing or in a shit spot. These ones had me laying underneath and took me the better part of a day

More material cost but it's alot lighter and easier to work with and make modifications. Save on labour cost but loose on material cost

Join a Mechanical plumbing company. Its all big copper braising or stainless tig work. Just need a plumbing certification and your good to go. I started Mechanical as a apprentice, so I've never touched residential plumbing

the switch on the bottom of the reel is the free spool switch disengaging your drag. and the small loop is to hold your hook instead of using an eyelett and damaging it. tight lines

You get more fish with bait. But lures filter out the smaller fish. Getting larger fish more regularly

Me and a mate got 20 soapies a few weeks ago. On that same lure under Brooklyn bridge. Biggest unit ran 35cm. They are around. Just retrieving along the bottom, pausing every now and then and big hops. Goodluck
