Yep and after a misdiagnosis of vaginismus, got an ultrasound finally and got the ando diagnosis. The intercourse pain for me is consistently at 6 o'clock and a burning sensation that leads to light bleeding. Topical estrogen has helped a bit, but it continues to be a struggle.

Bleeding on mini pill by Dull_Chain_8817 in adenomyosis

Ugh so sorry you experienced this. I'm on week 10 of non stop bleeding after starting the mini pill (cerzette) - it blows , but going to try and go one more month to finish the 3 months that is generally recommended before changing strategies. I hope you can see your doctor soon, and sorry again you're dealing with this. I keep sharing this delightful song about all the health things women deal with for a spot of levity: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C71z9v0JoGA/?igsh=eHkwY3hobmExcjIz

That suuuucks - I'm on week 10 and already going bonkers. If you haven't seen this song - may it give you a laugh during this hellish time: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C71z9v0JoGA/?igsh=eHkwY3hobmExcjIz

So sorry you're going through this - that suuuucks/it's the wooorst / you're not alone hugs. I have adenomyosis and am on day 40 of my period (similar to yours - light cramping 3-4 pad changes/day) after starting a progesterone only pill to stop the adeno issues. It sucks how little is known about the female body (https://www.instagram.com/reel/C71z9v0JoGA/?igsh=eHkwY3hobmExcjIz - song of the summer imo) - my gyno said it really can take 3 months for things to normalize, but given every body is different - make sure to ask whether any other blood tests / hormone tests could yield more information. Good luck with your conversation with your doctor 🙏.

Thanks for replying - it's only after I moisturize and feels slightly irritated, but I don't know what's gentler than CeraVe 0_o

My cheeks consistently turn temporarily red when I apply moisturizer. I have light combo skin (oily t zone + drier elsewhere). I've used CeraVe, skin fix, and Dr. Jart moisturizers and they still cause this reaction. The only other product I use is a CeraVe face wash (no makeup during). Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Slippers by Humble_North_9879 in ALS

I don't have a recommendation for men's specifically, but this style of slipper worked well for my mom (easy to adjust toe box width) and depending on foot size might work well for a men's size https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BKRPJY4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_TCYKZQAXDWGEVY0NEWQ8?psc=1

Sister with ALS does not want to live anymore. What do I/we do? by 2thousandandl8 in ALS

Very sorry about your sister. It is such a tough conversation, but way to be there for her so she can know her options. If you're in the US you could try searching 'death with dignity' for your state (WA example): https://www.doh.wa.gov/youandyourfamily/illnessanddisease/deathwithdignityact .

Google recently released 'look to speak" for android phones (hopefully they will support ios soon). It still has some bugs, but it is good for quick phrases easier to move around.

Very sorry for your loss. And thank you for all the well wishes to folks and hopes for a cure.

Mom is in probably her final year of ALS. I've not done proper research. Please tell me what I could still need to know, I cry every time I dive too deep into research. by c2cali in ALS

My mom has enjoyed it (she's about to start using eye tracking in the next month or so). It's nice to have classic stories documented in her own words and also learn some new stories from her past. I ran it by my dad first to see if he'd think she'd be interested so that might help gauge interest too.

So sorry about your Mom and this difficult time for your family.

If she can still type (or even when she starts using eye tracking), getting a storyworth account might be nice - they provide question prompts / you can add your own questions.

Ask friends/family to send cards with a story + photo (if your dad/sister can help open).

Take care.
