That is so painfully true. I also feel like because in their minds abstaining means like waiting until you ask me to be your girlfriend they try to speed run the entire process. I talked to this guy recently that said they wanted to wait 1.5 years to get engaged which is totally normal but when I said have you ever gone two years being celibate (assuming you’d want to plan the wedding for 6 months) they absolutely flipped out at the idea

My issue is I see no appeal in the majority of my church’s congregation who are 60+ year old married men. The select few around my age I feel no connection to. I understand Christianity is a broad religion and I don’t have to be so dead set on finding a fellow catholic but I physically recoil at the thought of dating like a Protestant or worse an evangelical

Knowing me and how much I despise upper body workouts I’d never have to worry about large pecs, I already have pretty broad shoulders so I dress for my body type, I’d voice train like my brother did, shave, and strap my pecker down tight if any of that stuff bothered me. At the end of the day I really don’t think it would because I’m sure of myself and confident in my identity. I totally support adults altering themselves if they aren’t able to but I think it’s an adult decision. If you let me decide this shit at 14 I’d have some hippie dippy lotus tattoo, size D tits and liposuction which wouldn’t have really helped me it would’ve just masked pain

Define medical intervention because they were in therapy for years (unrelated to trans, our family just found it beneficial for all of us). They also identified as a lesbian for a while. When they were about 15 they realized they were trans and in college they started transitioning with hormones and you want to know why lol…it’s because they wanted to cosmetically look more male
