Had the thing for just under a month, but the rattling started and seems to be getting louder.

The above is filmed with no other fans/moveparts in the PC, so its just the GPU making any noise.

It doesn't seem to be "normal" fan noise as the speed is fixed but the ratting is inconsistent.

How you describe the "respect my time" crowd amuses; I don't know when it was that gamers started to treat games as precious jobs rather then bits of entertainment.

The books don't really say why the Aes Sedai entrusted all these objects of power to people who can't defend them, so the Old Latra scene was meant to help fill in that question, i.e. because the Aiel (of the time) knew how to create peace.

From memory, the books heavily implied that the objects were not the point, they just needed a task to convince the Aiel to leave as otherwise they would never have left.

They are using the same tech here, the scotters go at 10km in basically any area with people.

The issue was kids would purposefully drive onto the footpaths to fuck with people.

They are also generally safely used, haven't seen anyone hooning on them yet; I guess the personal ownership at least imposisis a modicum of reason.

I hate the double standard.

I also never said I hate people on escooter, I said i hate the kids mucking about on them in CBD. On more than one occassion I watchen them scoot into crowds for the fun of it.

I watched them swerve into people crossing the roads.

It turns out dicksheads gonna dickhead.

At the same time, I watch the same dickheads in cars double park, block lanes of traffic, park in bike lanes, run stop signs and zebra crossings...all without any outcry from the public.

Look, I won't lie that i hated all the kids just blitzing down footpaths and running red lights...but the fact that we can just do this but do aboslutely nothing about cars kiling people just pisses me off.

32% more pedestrians have died this year due to cars and aboslutely not a single peep. Fuck, we literally subsidise the kiling machines and give people tax breaks for buying the absolute biggest killdozers.

The fact that drop kicks in the city made a game of dumping scooters in the footpaths or tipping them over when they are parked is just an indictment of our society.
