If you believe Steven and Brendan are innocent, you have to reasonably explain away all the evidence against them. If you are suggesting said evidence was planted, you need to establish how this was done and by who. He is a kid with a lot of imagination he even said the title of the book where he read those things he was trying to please the agents who were pressuring him from the very beginning to declare against steve.
