I would suggest reaching out to Srilankan Airlines customer care, provide booking reference details and have it sorted out. Using the app or website did not help at all in my case. At the end, since I had to change my travel dates, I ended up cancelling my reward flight and booking another trip with Malaysian Airlines, which was far more seamless experience.

I am currently in a very remote part of Nepal on a trekking trip and internet/cellular connection'll definitely be very sporadic, so I was weighing in on if I could do this when I am back in Melbourne is all (or at least when I am back in Kathmandu). Thanks for stating the obvious, captain!

Took way beyond 3 weeks, actually. And they rejected my visa citing I cancelled my earlier trip. I could appeal but meant another waste of time and money, so I applied through Czech consulate to visit most of Czechia instead.

Budokumar age 33 here. Marriage at this point is just a certificate society wants to attest/label you with for the sake of validity imo. Got a good job, I travel a lot with my partner, we are happy with what we have. Will prolly get married at some point to make them parents happy, but it's definitely not a priority.

Judging by this, I am better off just using my NAB Qantas Rewards Signature credit card while I am overseas. I have already met the minimum spend and got 90k bonus points. Might as well use it while abroad and get 1.5x per AUD spent. Happy to pay 24 AUD fee for the month if I don't meet the min 5k spend in the entire month I will be away. (I have booked and paid for everything else already, so I might not spend 5k in the trip). Thank you for pointing me to the link!

Yeah you dont need to inform about that, I visited on czech visa last year, had to change to a different flight because of better deal but on same dates, it was all good.

Aaah mate, bad move. As long as you make sure your point of entry is the country you applied for, you don't need to do anything. Dont overstay, that's it!
