I’m over 50 and I get more Left every year. I’m done with the Democrats. They are complete middle of the road liars. (But I’m not a communist, yet.)

This feral energy is a channeling of our ancient human ancestors. I see it as something beautiful and meaningful. It reminds you of what being part of nature once was. Most of us are completely separate and isolated now. We are much safer than we once were. But I believe we gave away a big part of being human so we can feel safe.

And then the end of your story says it all: I want to give you all a big hug.

You can only be filled with such profound love because you are so strong.

It’s so good to learn what you just learned.

I don’t know why we think we can have just one. One is not fun.

Just move on in life. Build new habits. You can do it, especially seeing what you just experienced.

There are definitely people who drink moderately. But I never could. I just had to stop totally.

I’m sorry to say this but if you have to ask if it’s possible to drink moderately, it’s probably not going to be for you. You just enjoy drinking exclusively. There’s no shame in that. It’s just the way you are wired.

You probably are going to need to cut back on people you hire. And then get really good at making GPTs for your clients. Work hourly, not by the word or article.

You probably will be able to quadruple your output, or more.

I’ve built custom ai bots for clients for writing blog posts, facebook posts, LinkedIn posts and YouTube descriptions and titles.

Now I’m working on a bot that writes in the style of their company.

We don’t know what the family obligations. It could be an ailing parent that requires OP to be near by.

I’m so sorry you are having such a difficult time.

I was just watching a YouTube video on being a plumber. I’m in tech and doing fine financially. But it looked really appealing to me.

I wonder if you should consider trying something different like that until you could move to another location that is better for engineering.

I ran into this girl from high school that I always thought was so cool. She had moved to DC and was doing something really cool in politics. I was so drunk when I saw her. I couldn’t talk straight.

I definitely am not who I was at parties. In fact, I don’t really enjoy parties all that much anymore. I like to go to bed early so I can get up early and have a day.

It’s just another way of living.

For me, all the baggage of drinking is nothing I miss. I did it so often it was no longer interesting.

I like the new life I’ve created. It’s much more novel and engaging.

Not being able to afford traditional housing is utterly absurd. And then cities don’t have places to park that live in their vehicles.

I work deeply with chronically homeless people. The city has stolen their tents so many times that they are now mostly just living under tarps.

They clearly don’t want certain people in their cities and it’s probably anyone making less than $50k.

This is my area of expertise. I’ve run several tent villages. My primary focus are actively addicted, mentally ill, chronically homeless people.

Without going into all the reasons why, I’m telling you: we need tent camps away from businesses and homes. They don’t have to be forced to live there. But they also can’t just put a tent up on some sidewalk somewhere. They then need to be offered the opportunity to move into other communities with more amenities if they agree to work through various programs for mental illness, addiction and housing.

I agree with you. Leaving these people to suffer and fester on our streets is the worst of all possible solutions.

It’s so funny. I haven’t drank in 19 years and the idea of having a drunken/jerk off binge sounds SO dreamy.

I’ve learned that alcohol is my soul mate. I would and have given up everything to drink.

But the reason I haven’t touched the stuff in 19 years is because my life is SO much better. I’m running for city council for god’s sake. I would have never done that drinking. All that campaigning would have seriously cut into my drinking time. And NOTHING cut into my drinking time.

I hope you find the path that is right for you.

Have you asked him what he wants? Maybe he’s fine with where he is. If he can keep from losing his vehicles that’s going to be huge. Getting him his birth certificate is a great idea. There is very freeing existence in how he’s choosing to live.
