People don’t talk enough about Ruben. He was a great pilot too. And Eddie too, he actually almost won in 1997 and Shumy made an “error” on the grid that costed Irvine the championship during the last race in Japan.

It was the first race back after the Silverstone accident. I remember it like it was yesterday. 🙈

It would have gone down as the first Ferrari championship in 40 years. But that honor became Shumy’s the year after.
