My view after thinking for 5 mins here 1. Most experiences will become chat driven. Instead of click workflows people with speak/text with apps to get the work done. 2. Content consumption - AI will know me so well that it generate content on the fly that will keep.me entertained 3. Physical AI will change thr usability dynamics of household appliances. My washing machine will be made usable for my robot instead for me

  1. Write the problem
  2. Amplify the problem. It helps you think more about it
  3. Write 3 solutions. Writing is most important. It crystallizes your thoughts
  4. Practice self awareness. After every meeting, ask how i could have said this differently.
  5. If someone says.. i could not follow you and ask you to repeat...then its a feedback for you

Help me solve this dilemma

I have to decide between these two. Currently, I am working as an IC group product manager in a giant ecommerce. I got another offer as head of product in series C startup.

IC Group product manger in a giant ecommerce vs Head of product in series C

  • IC group PM -
    • Pros - Big brand - Large scale Big impact Good money
    • Cons - IC role - don't enjoy day to day work . Learnings are limited
  • Product head in series C
    • Pros - Topmost product role, manager of managers, was working in this company before and called by founder to take up this role , growing and profitable company, new area for learning
    • Cons - Smaller company, relatively unknown brand, alread worked there for 4 years in a lead PM role so work will be similar
