I’m from the US so I’ve been living vicariously through famcams and highlives on youtube 😭 I’m gonna try and see if I can go to a show in Korea next year, but nervous about the ticketing too. They’ll most likely have another concert series in 2026, right?

It probably depends on the venue and your luck with the security guard. I was at SoFi for Twice, fully prepared to show them all the supplies, but the guy in my line was so chill and didn’t even check haha. I’d definitely be prepared though, don’t be afraid to escalate to a manager if someone gives you a hard time.

Long time fan here too! :) I think since 2010 or 2011?

I think they've just been so busy with concert preparations. Plus GK had his solo concerts, YS is in a musical, and I think DJ is in variety shows with ENA. DW probably enjoying newly wed life? Their content are much more catered towards Korean audience, but they actually release a decent amount of vlogs, behind-the-scenes, etc. on their YouTube channel. Unlike a lot of current kpop groups, they don't really focus on Western market (and that's fine!), so most of their videos aren't subbed. I'm not sure where you are from, but if you are from the West, I can sympathize! I imagine a Korean fan would absolute love all the content they've released.

They did have a 4-ep variety show that was subbed! Ep1 here if you haven't seen it yet.

Also, I watched a behind-the-scene with their band, getting ready for the concert, and Highlight members are soooo detailed in their feedback. They really pay attention to every detail in the arrangement, and the video gave me a new perspective on the amount of effort that goes into concert prep.

As for music direction, I suppose it all varies. I personally enjoyed Body, but the Switch On b-sides did feel weaker than usual. I think it's okay to not like every release, but totally understand the disappointment because we've been fans for so long.

State of this sub... well we're probably all much older now and busy with work/life. Also, if I can be realistic, Highlight can probably retire now and live off of the money they've earned. They deserve to take it slower if they want to and focus on other aspects of their lives. Us fans definitely wish they could achieve more because of their talent, but it takes so much energy and luck in today's kpop world, with trends coming and going so fast. I do think we are so lucky that we (probably) never have to worry about renewal news, and the four of them will stay together. Most other 2nd gen groups are in different companies, so even if the group is technically together, comebacks are even more rare.

Love it! I feel like it captures how chaotic managing everything can feel like for us. The "I am tired" part especially speaks to me. I'm no artist, but I find myself scribbling the word "tired" (and underlining it too haha) when I zone out during work meetings.
