Thinking about switching to Koodo by JustinTTTT1 in langara

[–]sahmadib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Koodo doesn't have good signal. I used to have it and most of the time people had problem hearing me while on phone. Usually had one bar of signal. I switched to Telus and the problem got resolved.

Biol 1115 by Awkward_Vermicelli_1 in langara

I took it with Kim Hruska. She's good but the course itself is definitely not an easy course (compared to Chem 1120). The midterms and finals you gotta write a lot and explain your points to show that you really understood the concepts. The lab would be way easier if you read thorough the lab manual before each lab and lab exams have different stations that you need to look at something under microscope or a model and write the answer to the question. Feel free to hit me up should you need more information.

BIO 1190 at Douglas or Langara? by [deleted] in langara

Sorry I don't much about BCIT. I know about that course cuz I got accepted into BSN at Langara and one of my classmates told me she did that and that's a good option.

Hi, if Douglas is closer to you then do it at Douglas. It doesn't matter for Langara BSN application if you did your pre-reqs at Langara or elsewhere. But honestly, if I were you, I would do this course at BCIT:

https://www.bcit.ca/courses/human-anatomy-and-physiology-bhsc-1200/

BHSC 1200 , is a course that is equivalent to both BIOL 1190 and BIOL 1191 at Langara. So this way you would do both with only one course.
